YOU SHOULD STILL BE PLAYING THIS NEPTUNES JOINT

Mystikal is one of those dudes it’s just hard not to love. Yeah, he did some dumb shit to his hair stylist and didn’t pay taxes. But he’s one of the most recognizable vocal presences ever in rap and I don’t care what anyone says…close your eyes when listening to him on a Neptunes beat and tell me he doesn’t invoke the spirit of James Brown. Now…Shake Your Ass and Bouncin Back I still hear out all the time (and rightfully so). But this one was always the jam for me. Start playing it again. And hope Pharrell gets smart and does a whole album with Mystikal now he’s out of jail. That would make too much sense though huh?
