Everyone still plays Luchini. One of the best hip-hop songs of the 90s and arguably one of the better hip-hop tunes ever. But there was so much classic material from Camp Lo on their debut album, Uptown Saturday Night, that I think it’s damn near criminal I don’t hear more djs revisiting more than just their one hit. These 2 tracks alone speak volumes of how consistently bad ass this record was and how you should still be playing them. Maybe you’ll be playing them for the first time…finally. One thing is for sure though…we’ll be dropping some Camp Lo this Friday at the next edition of POP ROCKS. GOOD TIMES.
